Coating of metallic parts

Home > Applications > Coating of metallic parts

In order to increase the life cycle of the parts and protection of them against corrosion and oxidation in high temperature conditions and also to improve their surface performance terms, various coatings are used that can be applied using cold spraying, thermal spraying (flame, electric and plasma arc) and laser cladding processes on the surface. In these methods, different powders are employed such as Inconel 718, 625 superalloys, Ni-Cr 80/20, Ni-Gr 75/25 and Ni-Al 95/5, Carbides (WC-Co, WC-Co-Cr, WC-CrC-Ni, Cr3C2-NiCr), cobalt based, iron based, nickel based, molybdenum based powders, MCrAlYs, and a variety of oxides and other special compositions including alloying elements such as Ti, Ta, Cr and Nb.
